WonderWorks Panama City Beach began as a Top Secret research laboratory on a remote island in the Bermuda Triangle. As legend has it, the world’s greatest scientists – led by Professor Wonder – were given the task of creating a man-made tornado and harnessing the POWER of it. During this experiment, something went awry and the power of the tornado was unleashed throughout the laboratory. This created a swirling vortex that was strong enough to rip the laboratory from its foundation. It was carried thousands of miles away and landed upside-down on the top of a surf shack in Panama City Beach, Florida. Remarkably, all of the experiments remained intact and functional.

When you enter the building, everything will be upside-down, so in order to participate in the fun, you must be inverted. Step inside the inversion tunnel and be turned right side up to begin your journey. Once you are properly aligned for your adventure, family fun awaits with more than 100 hands on exhibits. Make WonderWorks a stop on your Things to Do list when visiting Panama City Beach.

"Rainy Day Fun!"
Reviewed January, 2015
Have you ever had your beach plans canceled due to unexpected nasty weather? Are you looking for wholesome entertainment that is sure to please people of all ages?? Do you seek out activities that are family friendly? If you answered yes to all these questions, start planning your trip to Wonderworks now!
Without a doubt, Wonderworks is an indoor interactive amusement park that is sure to delight every toddler, kid, teen, and adult! There is an activity to meet everyone’s thrilling needs. Last month, I took my 3 year old niece, 11, 13, and 16 year old son to this amazing establishment. We all spent endless hours riding virtual rides, blowing gigantic bubbles, playing interactive video games, and balancing on the tight rope obstacle course. The day was filled with laughter, smiles, and family bonding as we worked our way thru the multi-leveled virtual park. We were not even out of the parking lot and all of the kids were asking when we could make a return trip to this fantastic establishment. We could not have asked for a better way to spend our day! Thank you Wonderworks for the indoor excitement you provided us on a rainy day! It was worth every penny!
Tip: Be prepared to stay all day. Wear your tennis shoes. Bring money for the gift shop!

Went thru each level and ended with laser tag. Both 8 & 13 yr old had a blast. Nice way to beat the heat.

"Fun, but everything is broke!!"

I am here right now, and everything is broke. Only 2 guns work in the black hawk, nothing in the space area works, the flight simulators only fly left, it's sure not worth the money spent. I won't waste my money next time.

"many features were "out of order""

It is old and dilapidated inside. The games are loud and full of kids. I expected a more educational experience. I was there in the off season and it was still crowded and noisey. So many of the interactive attractions were out of order. very disappointing. I can not recommend it for anyone. Vastly a waste of $57 for 2 adults.

"Fun day! "
TripAdvisor user rating 4 out of 5

We had fun playing games, reading fun facts, and doing hands on activities! The roller coaster simulator and gyro-sphere were fun! The ropes course was cool too! We skipped the laser tag which was a higher prices ticket but had lots of fun anyway! Be warned, when you go through the turnstile to the ropes course you can't return to the other activities. We must have missed the warning sign as our children ran to the rope course. We could tell that the facilities were older because it didn't have touch screen technology and one or two attractions were closed for repairs. All and all we had fun!

"overpriced for what we were able to get out of it"
TripAdvisor user rating 3 out of 5
Reviewed June 21, 2016 NEW

For a family of 4, we paid $74 for general admission. That included a free 1 year old. It was loud so the 1 year old wasn't happy. My 6 year old liked some of the things, but not enough to make it worth it for our family. This place may be great for older kids, but not for our 1 year old and 6 year old.
